ABSTRACT
The severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) virus currently affects more than 200 countries and territories around the world, with the SARS-CoV-2 disease having been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Health (WHO).
Currently, no treatment is approved due to lack of evidence, but a series of clinical trials are underway and fruitful results are expected very soon. This review focuses on several treatment approaches and few of the most recent clinical trials conducted in this field.
