Sepsis is the body's response to an infection that can compromise the patient's life. Hospital admissions due to sepsis have doubled in the last 10 years and it is considered one of the leading causes of death worldwide.

Early detection and treatment improves the survival of patients with sepsis. The approach to these patients is complex and multidisciplinary, which is why we consider it a shared challenge. This course reviews fundamental aspects in 5 modules with the aim of resolving doubts and updating knowledge of health professionals involved in the management of patients with sepsis and includes a clinical case of advanced clinical simulation of sepsis detection.
