About us

Sepsis-one is an ethical project launched by the FOUNDATION FOR THE PROGRESS OF EDUCATION AND HEALTH, FPES, with the participation of a Committee of Experts committed to the fight against sepsis.

FPES is a non-profit foundation, whose income comes exclusively from contributions from private biosanitary companies that do not participate in the development of content.

The main objective of this initiative is to reduce mortality from sepsis by offering continuous training and scientific information to professionals. In addition, some initiatives are developed for patients and also for the media.

The elaboration of contents is carried out under the proposal of the specialists of "Piensa en Sepsis", who provide suggestions, recommendations, experience and knowledge to make them available to other professionals. All of this has the objective of making the health authorities and civil society aware of the importance of this clinical complication that causes more than 15.000 deaths a year in Spain.

FPES has no commercial or promotional objectives and all the services it makes available to health professionals, both nationally and internationally, are completely free.
