Foundation for the Progress of Education and Health, FPES (in English Foundation for the Advancement of Education & Health) and the Think Sepsis program are already members of the Global Sepsis Alliance, GSA. ( https://www.global-sepsis-alliance.org/members )

This international organization founded in 2010 integrates in its members a group of organizations such as scientific societies, foundations and associations specifically committed to the fight against sepsis.

For us it is a source of pride and a challenge to be able to share our efforts at an international level with other organizations that work with the same objective: to reduce mortality from sepsis and improve the quality of life of surviving patients.

In line with our objectives, we are working on the development of new projects that we will share with our community of professionals and with patient groups and their environment to contribute to improving the current situation, which in 2016 alone has resulted in a mortality rate of 17.000 people. , almost 15 times more than that produced by traffic accidents this year.

To help change this serious situation, the Piensa en Sepsis program will launch other initiatives aimed at professionals and patients on September 13, coinciding with World Sepsis Day.
