Starting today, August 6, there is new content on the Sepsis-One page. This is everything related to pediatric and neonatal sepsis, one of the main causes of mortality in children worldwide. Until recently, pediatric patients were treated according to the protocols of adult patients but, taking into account the advances made in the physiology of children, it is considered that they need their own approach that allows for early diagnosis and the effective use of available treatments, hemodynamic patterns and prognosis.
We appreciate the invaluable collaboration of Drs. Iolanda Jordan and Elisabeth Esteban, from the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, Barcelona, in the review of the contents presented.
