Jan 15 NEW continuing education course "STRATIFICATION AND PROGNOSIS OF THE CRITICAL PATIENT"
We started the Year 2017 with the implementation of a NEW continuous training course "STRATIFICATION AND PROGNOSIS OF THE CRITICAL PATIENT". An initiative that falls within our Program “sepsis academy".
This course is aimed at providing medical professionals with an updated view of the most advanced diagnostic and predictive tools for the stratification and prognosis of patients with sepsis.
It is a proven fact that during the early phases of the infectious process, achieving adequate selection, management, and placement of the patient contributes to a better outcome. Added to this is the fact that early identification of high-risk patients with organic dysfunction allows for a reduction in critical complications and consequently in mortality.
This course is aimed at delving into what biomarkers can offer us at the level of stratification and prognosis in the fight against infection in seriously ill patients.
