SEPSIS-one presents an APP aimed at medical professionals that facilitates early diagnosis of sepsis.
The application developed in Spanish can be downloaded free of charge from the professionals area of this page and has very useful information for establishing the diagnosis based on early detection and stratification protocols, antibiotic treatment algorithms based on determination with procalcitonin and includes prognostic calculators such as APACHE II and SAPS II, empirical treatment information, etc.
Leading specialists from the Scientific Committee of the program have collaborated in its development think sepsis who have contributed their experience and vision to ensure the best result.
The application is available for iPAD® and ANDROID® tablets and for smartphones such as iPhone® or Android®
We hope that the SEPSIS APP will be a support tool for the diagnosis and monitoring of patients at risk of sepsis, that will help us reduce the high mortality rate of this pathology.
