EHJ BIC-8

The results of the study have just been published. BIC-8. This is a randomized controlled trial evaluating the combination of copeptin and troponin in patients with low or moderate risk admitted to an Emergency Department with suspicion of acute coronary syndrome. The aim is to demonstrate that this procedure does not lead to a higher proportion of adverse effects than the standard protocol. In fact, this study shows how this strategy can reduce the hospital stay of these patients.
