ADM, a new tool for the diagnosis and prognosis of septic patients

In this videoconference, the biological bases of the use of adrenomedullin as a biomarker in sepsis are exposed, as well as some results of an own study, in which it is concluded that the concentration and clearance of this molecule help to determine the evolution and risk of mortality in patients with severe sepsis or septic shock.
